Ehh... later on down the line you talk about how you only have 5 devoted fans, and have you considered the reason you may not have more is because by getting politics involved heavily in your recent works, you are isolating part of your fanbase? Like truthfully I don't agree with this notion you seem to have that Feminism is perfect and that the right is the only source of trouble in the world. But I typically just keep my mouth shut because why bother commenting an opposite opinion when I know it likely won't be met with seriousness. Better to just silently observe than to risk offending an artist I genuinely enjoy.

*Shrugs* Just food for thought.

Cool - an exchange of thought! Yay ^^

I do know, that I have more than five regulars :D
And of course you are right; if I would post naughty catgirl-drawings, as naughty as they can get on DA, then my views would skyrocket to over a thousand within the first hour, no problem. That goes not just for my stuff but for EVERY sex-related picture by anyone; even the ones of bad quality. That´s what people are like here at DA.
So why don´t I simply post naughty Kyoko, enjoying the attention? Because that´s not the reason I am drawing her. For me, Kyoko is a matter of exchange of thought; an exchange I do not have in real life (I do not petty myself). With Kyoko I create my own discussion partner. We do agree on many things; but not on everything. There are differences.

I don´t think, Feminism is perfect. But if we, as a modern, western society, wish to evolve into something greater and better; if we want to evolve as a species; as the human race, then it is absolutely necessary to have the same rights for men AND women! That´s where it all starts - this is your very first devision concearning the human race: man and woman. Equality means, the same money when working the same job; means all the benefits for both genders and full, equal support for both genders and so on.
And if you have handled this, you may add all the other divisions aswell: Transgenders, gays, furries, blacks, muslims, cosplayers, keyboarders, Justin Biber fans - I don´t care. As long as we are making a difference, pidgeon-holing people, judging them to be inferior or supreme, the Western Society does have a problem. So: yes! Feminism is important! Not perfect, but definitely the most important current issue, the Western Societies have. We are pretty far with solving our problems. Theoretically, in a Western Society, noone can starve, everyone has a roof over the head and need not freeze to death during winter. If you are poor and willing to overcome your pride, the social network will catch your fall. Red Cross, Salvation Army, the large churches of the big religions, private simple people with a heart, the list goes on. So with having solved that, we should move on to equality. Politics-wise - who is standing in the way of equality? Is it the left wing? The liberals? The democrats? :)
So: yes, the right wing IS the problem. They are the conservatives. CONSERVATIVE - it´s in the name already. Their aim is to leave things as they are. No changes. No evolving of society. No evolving of the human race. Preserve - preserve privileges, preserve wealth, preserve power, preserve status. And if possible, enforce it; but ONLY personally. Not for everyone. Not for you, not for me. Well, for you, perhaps. Not for me.
I don´t say, a right wing person is bad. Misinformed, perhaps. Afraid of the unknown. Full of prejudice. Marked by bad experiences. But this can be changed, IF the right wing person is willing to use it´s brain. If not, it will vote for Trump in 2020.
I also don´t say, that all left-wing people are saints. They are not! The chosen form for our Western Society is capitalism and many people have worked very hard for their wealth. It would certainly not be okay to take away their riches, giving it to the low life scum buckets who have never had a job all their lives, leeching off others - just to create equality. No, the approach must be subtile. Like the unconditional basic income, which would help people get on their feet, would help old people getting on and which would strengthen economy and help young and poor families, aswell as single parents and long term unemployed. Also health care. Obama-care can only be the first step! Burying it, so that some rich people can get some tax breaks is the wrong approach for a modern Western Society. And I do understand the rich elite. I used to have money. Lots of it. It gets on your nerves, that people think, they are entitled a piece of your cake, because it is unfair, that you are so lucky with money and they are not! Screw them! If they want to be rich, let them go to school, work hard and make their fortune! That´s what we are here for - in our Western capitalism society!
For some it is easier - they are female, 19, blonde, with a top body and a natural likeness for having sex with strangers - they will make it in NO time. Gold-diggers? Perhaps. But it´s the result that counts and if noone gets hurt, who am I to judge? For some it is extremely hard, of course - if you are male, 50, fat and ugly, like me, you will have to be a genius, if you want to be successful... and it is absolutely pointless to moan about how unfair life is and it is even more pointless to hate others, because they are doing better than you and it is absolutely totally pointless to use violence to make a statement - be it physical violence or mental violence. As a species, we should have left the war-path behind us by now. In my opinion, the human race should show a little more dignity. All that Trumping, Assading, Erdoganin and Putining... it is getting embaressing.

*burb* thanks for the snack ^^

First off, I can understand where you are coming from. I view myself as Centrist, I agree in equality but I also think the Left has gotten way out of hand in recent times. If the left was more like it used to be, I'd probably identify as a liberal.

However I must start by saying Men and Women are equal in western cultures. The pay gap doesn't exist anymore, and has been proven away multiple times. The most prevalent fact brought up is those studies who discuss the pay gap, don't take finer details into consideration. Yes Men will on average make more money, but that is primarily because Men are more willing to take riskier jobs, or work more hours. Women and men are biologically different, and this also effects their work ethics, on average. Men are more willing to forsake a social life if it means progressing in a job, whereas women are less willing to forsake a social life just to get ahead. Yes, a pay gap exists, but it's not one based in gender and discrimination, it's based in work ethics.
Other forms of inequality, exist, but not to the degree that they are typically made out to be. The problem with the modern left is so often they create problems where there are none. Take the recent riot in Boston. Antifa created chaos in that city because they were lead to believe Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists were having a rally there. Turns out they were lied to and their hostile protest put lives at risk and cost tax-payers so much money because they were eager to fight a problem that wasn't even there.

As for the conservative bit... A culture needs a balance between being liberal and being conservative. Look at countries like Sweden for example. It's suffering greatly because it lacks any form of conservatism in it's government, primarily surrounding immigration laws. With the influx of Muslim refugees the country has taken in, it's seen an influx of crime, directly linked back to the increase in refugees. A country must not be so liberal that it risks destroying itself. Australia is in the same boat recently, as there is documented evidence that their recent muslim refugees are trying to form an army of "Allah" to take control of the government and invoke Sharia Law. And what's the primary reasoning this army has stated? They know their government to be weak.

Yes there are issues that could very well be solved with being a bit more liberal, but there are also issues that need to be resolved by being conservative. I see the two sides very much as different routes to solving different issues, as no one route can solve every issue. Adaptation is key to survival.

"However I must start by saying Men and Women are equal in western cultures" - no, they are not. Perhaps in the US (I doubt it), but definitely not in Europe. And it has not been proven. Not once, not multiple times.

"Yes Men will on average make more money, but that is primarily because Men are more willing to take riskier jobs, or work more hours" - you don´t get paid for taking risks. You get paid for responsibility.
Again, I cannot speak for the US, but in Europe, there is a maximum of hours set by law and you are not allowed to exceed this maximum of hours. It is illegal - no matter which gender you have. You are willing to work more hours than a female collegue? Tough. You are not allowed to.
"Men are more willing to forsake a social life if it means progressing in a job, whereas women are less willing to forsake a social life just to get ahead." Prove it! No human being in a modern Western Society, no matter what gender, is willing to forsake a social life, if it means progressing in a job. It is not necessary anymore. You can have both - social life AND a career. We are not living "The Wolf Of Wallstreet", where the value of the individual is measured by the amount of sales one makes per month and where competition is the only thing that counts. This is also not Japan - and even in Japan, this attitude is aging fast! Efficiency is no longer defined by the amount of hours you work but by the amount of work you get done within a certain time-window. You get paid 30 hours to get the job done. If you need 40, your loss. Noone will slap your back, saying what a diligent worker you are, if you are willing to finish your job working 40 hours, but it is set for 30. They will say, that you are slow. But if you need 20, you still get paid 30 hours. You will make a profit. That´s how it works - for men and women.

"The problem with the modern left is so often they create problems where there are none. Take the recent riot in Boston. Antifa created chaos in that city because they were lead to believe Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists were having a rally there. Turns out they were lied to and their hostile protest put lives at risk and cost tax-payers so much money because they were eager to fight a problem that wasn't even there." - This is not a problem of hostile anti-protesters. It´s a problem of how to deal with demonstrations in general. An example? In my hometown there was the announcement of a rightwing-extremist demonstration in the papers. This is Germany. Do we have AntiFa? Oh, yes - we have. And they showed up. Lots of them! So how did the city handle the situation? (This was totally genius, by the way). The protesters arrived by car and by train and they were rounded up at the train-station, where is enough parking space, divided into right-wing and left-wing. They isolated the fascist protesters by surrounding their complete demonstration with police forces in riot gear. They then escorted them into the industrial area and because it was Saturday, the whole quarter was complete empty. There was noone there. Then police let them demonstrate. They had their march, they shouted their paroles, they showed their signs - but noone was there. No spectators, no press, no AntiFa. Afterwards, the police escorted them back to the train station and they had to leave. In this country, you have the right of free speech, but you do not have the right, that anyone has to listen :)
At the same time, the city organized a huge city-fair with bands and all sorts of amusements like street theater, free makeup for kids, bouncy castles, etc. - and that´s where police sent the AntiFa. They got their AntiFa-rally at the side of that huge city party and everyone was happy. No violence, no stress, no hatred, no broken shops, no burnt up cars, no casualties. Just a huge party. If Boston had a problem, it was not the AntiFa. It was Boston officials, mishandling the situation, blaming the AntiFa movement.
Why are there movements like the White Supremists or the AntiFa-movement? What´s the reason? White Supremists believe, that they are biologically/naturally better than non-white people. That´s simply bollocks and results from poor education. Proper education is matter of the state. If a state has White Supremists, it´s education system is bad and urgently needs funding and improvement. As easy as that. You cannot even blame the White Supremists. They think, they are doing right. Just like in the Middle Ages, when people thought, they did the right thing by burning witches or not sailing the seas, because they would have fallen off, once they would have reached the edge of the world. The White Supremist will learn, eventually. But it might take a while. Also it is much easier and more convenient to shout racial slurs, rather than getting some education. You might find out, that the cute black girl sitting next to you, is actually smarter than you. Also she won´t date you, because you are fat and ugly and basically a stupid arsehole. So insult her by calling her "useless nigger-slut" in return! It´s good for your ego and you can be sure, that your ugly, fat White Supremist girlfriend doesn´t wish for a black guy, when she sucks your tiny dick. Well, she does. But at least she won´t admit it. Makes you feel good about yourself, when you pose with your shotgun-rifle penis-surrogate in front of your full-length dress mirror (Uh, that was SO Kyoko then - I love her :D :D :D )

Please note, that I don´t mean YOU personally, when I say "you", okay? I do not intend to attack, hurt or offend you. Actually, I am really enjoying this little chat ^^

"As for the conservative bit... A country must not be so liberal that it risks destroying itself."

If you want to look at a country like Sweden, you might aswell look at Germany. 470.000 refugees in 2015 - on a population of 80 million. Almost twice as many as any other european country. And everyone is screaming "ARGH! THE GERMAN IDENTITY! THE GERMAN CULTURE!"

470.000 refugees. Thats ONE refugee on nine school classes. One. I bet, if you gather the pupils of the nine school classes, your one refugee will make a HUGE cultural difference and have a HUGE cultural impact on those 180 other pupils! :D
I bet, all 180 german pupils become muslim terrorists straight away! And we all eat falaffel and doner kebab the second, we get a chance! OMG, I feel the sudden urge to read the Quran!

Also: who says, that all refugees are radical muslims? That´s nonsense! Islamists and the Sharia are the reason why these people are fleeing in the first place! Refugees are muslims from former Kurdistan - now Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey - known, hated and hunted for their liberal interpretation of the Quran. Yazidi - fleeing for the same reasons. Also Christians. Why should a radical muslim leave his homeland, where everything is just the way he wants it? That doesn´t make sense. They can all say, what they like - no european country has taken as many refugees per person, like Germany (over 8000 per one million population - on place two and three: Greece and Austria with about 4500 per one million population each). Muslims are trying to take over the country? That´s bullshit.

And for the record: in 2016 there were 17 million refugees worldwide. 5 million for Europe´s 500 million people (1%p.p.), 5 million for Africa´s 1.2 billion people (0,5%p.p.), 700.000 for the USA´s 323 million people (0,25%p.p.) and Australia isn´t even mentioned in the statistics with their 3.000 refugees on their 25 million people (0,01%). "ehem, mate, we have a refugee, too! And he´s a huge problem!" OMG! O.o
"The Refugee Sharia Army" - quite catchy. What do they do? How are they funded? What is their mouthpiece? How do they make people listen? How do they enforce their Sharia law in Australia? How do they present their threat to the government? Are they forcing the members of parliament to fuck ten year old girls and cut off their wife´s clitoris, or what? And the Aussies are like "Yes! Take away our movies and music! Dancing is illegal! Women don´t need education! Also we want to shoot them if they give directions to strangers! And adulterers will be stoned to death from now on!" - Come on! You are not falling for that, are you? :D

Yes, statistically, 16% of the German population got into conflict with the law. 16% potential criminals amongst the german population. So I might aswell assume, that at least 16% of the immigrants might be criminals. So what´s a criminal - statistically. A murderer. A rapist. A thief. A burglar. A violent person. Yes. Also someone who embezzles taxes. Someone who downloads movies or music from the internet or provides it for download. Someone who sells animal porn in this country (producing it is legal). Someone who gets drunk and damages a traffic light, while playing monkey, dangling from it. Someone who doesn´t feed his dog. Someone who accuses someone else falsly. Someone who parties too loud at the weekend. I am teaching German at community colleges - to refugees. I haven´t met anyone so far, who I would consider a danger to society or to my culture. And I am PROUD, that this country has taken 470.000 refugees in 2015 and if Erdogan sends another 3.5 million from Turkey, Germany will handle them. It hit us a little out of the blue back in 2015, 1.2 million at once (who then got apportioned between the European countries or sent back, because they had no legal reason to come here in the first place) - but this time, we are prepared. If a country can handle another 3.5 million refugees at once, it will be Germany :)
Yes, there will be an outcry. There might even be riots in the streets; but we will handle it. Our education system is alright. Far from perfect, but alright. Alright enough to realize, when a threat is a threat and when it is called a threat to serve someone´s personal intentions.

Adaptation is the key to survival. Very true. And every refugee knows that. So far, I haven´t met a refugee, demanding that the country he fled to, adapts to his needs. So far, the ones I have met, were smart enough to realize, that they are the ones who need to adapt. That´s why they are learning the language of this country - and it´s working pretty well ^^

And what is culturally so great in the US, that it is worth to be conserved? Shouldn´t it be something like "One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, With Liberty And Justice For All"?

Your kids pledge it every day at school, don´t they?

So what is it worth, an American pledge? Ask your prez! Ask your White Supremists. What is it worth - the word of an American, if he cannot even stand by a pledge.

Ad White Supremist - I have real problem with leftist calling everyone Nazis. Majority of people called Nazis are simply not white supremist, they just have different thoughts. I'm not speaking about rallies, there were White Supremist, also as Black Supremist, if we want to be equal - I'm speaking about people distancing themselves from any of these extreme ideologies, but they are still thrown in the same spit bucket...

And how I hate these labels. I can't say I'm left, center or right, max I'm right handed. I'm against violence, punching anyone is not acceptable - unless in defense. I'm shocked how women were not real part of NASA/Universities before 1970, something I cannot understand because I was born almost two decades later. Same shock for me was document describing how to get rid of words with gender like human etc. Yes I'm man so I can only try to be empathic to guess how it might look for women; my mother tongue has three genders and declensions, so it's highly possible it's more glaring in English than in Czech. I also have learning disability, so these artificial words people create to be "neutral" have absolutely no undertone for me, unlike spoken language words, so I say to all of you who wanted this - thank you really much for making understanding of written text even harder for me... (and yet I don't tell it to them on every occasion) I don't like seeing _imigrants_ taking advantage of policies for _war refugees_. I don't like Islam's view of homosexuals or atheist as someone who needs to be killed to clean them of their sin of being homosexual or non-believer. I believe everyone has right to live and be herself. I support social/medical care while also I support less taxes/administration for (small/mid-sized) companies, while knowing world-wide companies will certainly use advantage from it. Even after I believe in freedom of belief (read religion), I don't want it in schools. Also education places and parliament are places where you should be free to discuss ANY ideas and not be prosecuted for them. Who am I? I'm not leftist, centrist, rightist (I'm I right? hehe) I'm just Joe...

"you don´t get paid for taking risks. You get paid for responsibility"

- reminds me of "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility". Responsibility is interwoven with risk. Other question is if we make those people responsible be also culpable. From point of honest bussiness owner (which is majority) you take risk to be able to compete and also you are responsible for paying your employees. And you want happy and well paid employees...

- continuing on previous answer: as a bussiness owner, it's up to you to get your bussiness do well. I know people who work from 07:30 to 17:00/21:00, having just one day in week free to do what they want, which sadly is not to be with their family, if they are not family person, and that's nothing bad! Everyone need just time for them. I know people who work from 09:00 to 15:00, seems better, but while they come home they learn how to take your bussiness forward, make it effective, how to inspire employees, how to deal with problems, taking online shool courses, distance study, etc. What is funny - I guess 70% to 80% of management is men. 100% of "workers" (they do industrial sewing) are women. You might ask why? BECAUSE NO MAN COULD STAND IT. Literally. No man who tried to do the work these ladies do everyday could compete with them and soon or later just cannot continue. BTW they work from 07:30 to 15:00 Mon-Fri, are well paid and they chose to work so early to have free time on the afternoon.

I can't prove it to you, I can only tell you I know people who are in bussiness executive and who are bussiness owners and they either work themselves out, you can see it on their health, you see them tired. You see them worry if they will have enough orders in next month. You see them worry they don't have enough capacity for orders this month. You see them worry how to eliminate unnecessary expenses when they don't see any posibility to. You see them worry when EU decides to pay them grants, because the manufacturer won't wait till you have the money. I don't want to do that...

Labels - yes, I agree. It seems, people NEED to pigeon-hole everything and everyone. I do it and I guess, you are not safe from it, either. When I read your paragraph about your political and social attitude, I automatically thought "If he wants it or not: he IS a lefty..." - even if you don´t like to be pigeon-holed as one :D
Besides: for someone with a learning disability, you write impressive stuff - especially if one considers, that you are not writing in your native tongue... that´s more an educated mind, rather than someone with a learning disability. If you really have got it, I have got it, too :)
In my understanding, there are different levels of ethics. I agree again: violence is a no go, except in self-defense. Also: we are human beings. And if anyone needs our help and we CAN help, we should do it, no matter if the person in need is left, right, center, christian, muslim, chinese, transgender, satanist, nazi, plant or animal. Especially if it doesn´t mean a disadvantage for ourselves. Afterwards, we can roll out the posters again and protest for or against whatever we stand for. I doubt, that anyone who is hungry and who has lost everything during the hurricane in Huston, would refuse food from someone with the opposite opinion - out of pride; because that´s what it is. Pride. And even if YOU would refuse to take the food: you wouldn´t refuse it for your kids. Responsibiliy again.
Responsibility doesn´t come with great power, Uncle Ben. It comes with a certain age. It´s the only real difference between being a kid and being an adult (even if I repeat myself). Once you are willing and capable to take responsibility for yourself and your actions, the next step is to take responsibility for others - your kids, your spouse, your aging family members, your employees. And of course it is possible, that you make the wrong decisions. We are only human. We do make mistakes. And if we dare to admit our mistakes and develop enough courage to change our ways for the better, then we develop a little greatness, too ^^
Business - you always have a choice. If you want the new Mercedes, it might be necessary to work six days a week, eight til late. You have to decide, if you NEED that Mercedes or if your life will go on, even with an older car and without the envy of your neighbours. In the end, the old saying is true: money doesn´t make you happy. Melania Trump doesn´t look very happy to me - neither does that husband of hers. I´d say, it´s a matter of the wrong priorities. I used to work six days a week, eight til late in my own small design business with four employees. My daughter had only one single birthday-wish for her tenth birthday: that we would spend more time with her. And that´s the moment, where all the alarm-bells in your head HAVE to ring like crazy. Yes, today I wouldn´t be able to fly over to London to have a chinese silk dress tailored for my wife by some cool fashionista, like I used to be. But I promise: drawing naked cat-girls, chatting with nice people, while being surrounded by the people and creatures I love is far more rewarding, than that new Mercedes - and I wouldn´t change that back. Not for a billion dollars and the US presidency. I do have a roof above my head; I do have clothing on my body; I do have only a few friends and I do have tasty food to eat. I am healthy and as happy as I can be. I am content :)
So that´s it, really. That´s my message. Treat others, like you want to be treated yourself, while making sure, that everyone and everything in your close surroundings is well (the area, that you are able to control). Take responsibility for what you say and what you do and make the right decisions for yourself, while taking the life of others into consideration; and that´s where you have your full circle ^^

It's definitely about priorities. Of course it depends on the personality of a person - egoist will have different priorities than altruist - but it's a society forcing "the right" priorities on us too. One might study something she don't like - I write she, but that's because it's convention, but it doesn't matter if the person is woman or man - or she take a job and after 2 years she'll find out she doesn't like it. I guess most people who "are stuck" in jobs knows that, but maybe think that Mercedes will make them happier, while the only thing is they will need to keep working to pay off the car, or that house or who knows what their eyes lay upon. But the decision to change their job instead might be more frightening than keeping job where they are unhappy. People do mistakes, we learn by mistakes, sadly... We have only one lifetime to make mistakes, and hell even when I was 20 - so almost quater of life spent - I still didn't know what I want to do or be. So tell your message, because even when we need to make mistakes ourselves, there might be someone who will listen and think about what is important in life and what is not.

I know - I was the same. Perhaps it is human nature. Making my OWN mistakes, no matter how many reasonable warnings I receive ("it might apply to you, but it doesn´t necessarily mean, it applies to me, too!". I still do and I guess, it will never change.
At least, using Kyoko as a voice, the thoughts come from a young cat-girl who is new to the planet, learning as she goes along - instead of lessons from an old fart :D

(adding more food)
Also regular people don't want any political/feminist/social messages when they want to have fun by reading/watching/training one hand. Make content that brings fun to people when they want to ease their mind while getting away from their tiring days. People usually like to know what are your views, but they don't want to be taught lessons (Marvel...) Don't be shamed, just because some people force their political view on society doesn't mean you have to adapt or die. Don't shame. Don't speak on behalf of anybody else. And ask yourself how do you want people to know you as - artist? person? activist? From experience many people cannot do all these at once without getting hurt (it's just feelings), becoming disconnected from reality, riding drama waves or keeping steady morality. People who like what you do will mostly silently observe, as voxumo said. So maybe you have 50 silent observers who like what you do and maybe 5 vocal assholes who don't want anything else than make themselves feel better and actually don't care about you. If I can suggest anything: be you and don't look for approval from people on the internet - at least not from those who are vocal.

I know what you mean. And I agree. But there are two factors, that you do not mention and that is a) my personal need to let off steam. If I would be more successful with Kyoko, I most probably wouldn´t do it: using her as my personal valve. For me, doing comedy is hard work. Making people angry with rage, making them cry, making them ignorant - that´s easy. But making them smile or even laugh - well, that´s a different thing altogether! Especially if you don´t want cheap shots, puns or making fun of others who might be hurt because of the joke. So to be able to make comedy, I need the negativity out of the way. It doesn´t work, if I am worrying about things. I need it out of the system. And THAT´s my one main reason, why I draw the occasional political cartoon or why I let Kyoko make a social statement. The occasional heavy stuff makes it a lot easier for me to draw the funnies. And when I go through a rough patch - like the last year - the negative Kyoko prevails - unwittingly. As I say: if I would earn money with her or if the immediate aim would be commercial success, I wouldn´t do it - and once I have established her political and social position, I will stop it anyway. It is important to me to be able to say "Kyoko does have an opinion about that topic", referring to older cartoons. This will give me the liberty to concentrate on the funny and sexy stuff without boundaries in my head. Also b): I didn´t mention this on the internet, but I did lose a teaching job because of Kyoko; "someone who draws smut and filth shouldn´t be allowed to teach young people". It is nice to be able to let people who have the power to make decisions like that choke on their own words by presenting a Kyoko with a social and political opinion and not only some cat-girl spreading her legs. Yes, that might be naif, as a fifty year old guy drawing comics cannot expect much respect from society anyway. But still: I want to be able to say "sex is only a facette of my work. If you don´t like the sex bits, concentrate on the non-sex bits. And if you don´t like Kyoko altogether, ignore her, for fuck´s sake! But get off my back!"

I know... well, it wasn´t so bad in the end, as the last job I did for them, really sucked. Lots of teenage girls, age thirteen to fifteen. Puberty galore! So much agression, so much frustration, so much smartassness and so much undeserved and unjustified "we are awesome"-ness! It was very stressful. Usually, I do courses for people, who WANT to learn and who are interested in the subject. But this course was mandatory for them and it reflected on their attitude. Yes, I will miss the money. But work-wise: good riddance!

I have to agree with, well Joe since I'm inserting a name. I don't follow this account for the "Oooh, sexiness" because no offense I can't really say I find Kyoko attractive. I started following when they were doing letters and whatnot, even sent a letter in myself. It was commentary pictures but commentary without an agenda.

"I sent a letter in myself. It was commentary..." - I stopped doing letters following comments right at the very beginning. In my opinion: if I go through the multi-day trouble writing and drawing a cartoon, it is not too much to ask for a real letter, rather than a comment. If I would draw cartoons following comments, I would be busy for the next two hundred years.... :)

I think you misinterpreted my response. The "It was Commentary" bit was not referring to the letter, technically an email, I sent. It was referring to the style of picture. I suppose nowadays it would be called response images.

I am sorry, but I have no emails from you in my notes. Can you give me a hint, please, where to find it or when you sent it? O.o

I also tried checking my own mail for it, and could not find it, though I do still have your email, at least at the time, registered in my contacts. I want to say I sent it in 2011, maybe 2012. Also perhaps you can find it if you search by email? I'll send you a note with my email since I'd rather not post it in comments.

Also if memory serves me right, I believe I sent it either shortly after or shortly before you did a kyoko letter regarding some... German band? I think it was german, may be wrong.

I´ve got it - it´s from 2013! O.o

I am so sorry! I did get it, I did read it and for reasons I cannot remember, I forgot to copy it into my "to do" folder. I can only apologize and it will be the next Letters I will publish. I will start working on it tomorrow.

And drawing the Letters is a lot of fun! But again: I need the things bothering me out of the way to be able to make up funny stuff. Kyoko is still in development; I am still working on her style and on her psyche and it is very good possible, that this process will continue as long as Kyoko´s cartoons will go. I will try out, I will take wrong paths and I will end up in the occasional dead end. And if you would stay with me, viewing this process, judging it, criticising it and smiling occasionally, I would be very happy ^^
