Je Suis Charlie - Kyoko 194

Today a group of terrorists attacked the French publisher Charlie Hebdo in Paris. Eleven innocent people got slaughtered during a conference, four of them cartoonists. A muslime policeman trying to stop the attackers got executed, while laying on the floor heavily injured. Getting away, the terrorists killed more people on their way. During a diversion-attack, a policewoman got killed, aswell as hostages in a jewish supermarket. The terrorists got killed in a shooting with the police, two days later.

Charlie Hebdo has published comics and cartoons about the prophet Mohamed. The cowardly attack on the freedom of speech is heavily criticised by EVERYONE around the world, including all sorts of Islamic institutions and believers. It is criticised by Kyoko and me, too.

Charlie Hebdo tried to make us laugh and they tried to make people think - the same way, jesters have done for ages. They died for trying to make people happy - it could have been me; it could have been you.

My warmest thoughts are with the relatives and friends of the victims, who are left behind and who´s pain and grief must be unbearable. I am very sorry.
